TIP Amendment for City of Grand Rapids Leonard Street Project in addition to the requested project changes found in the January 26th Joint Tech/Policy Committee Meeting Agenda

The City of Grand Rapids has requested to increase the total project cost and the scope from rehabilitation to reconstruction for their Leonard St project from Powers Ave to Alpine Ave. The participating project cost change and modification to a reconstruction project are requiring a federal amendment to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The federal funding will also be changing slightly from FY24 reallocation funds, but this did not cause the amendment trigger. See below for details.

Programmed Budget

  • Federal Funding - $537,092

  • Local Funding - $350,908

  • Total Budget - $888,000

Proposed Budget

  • Federal Funding - $548,557

  • Local Funding - $2,076,942

  • Total Budget - $2,625,499
